What makes the red man red?

Stef and I spent most of Saturday outside. We started by playing ultimate. Andrew and Collette, Kiel, Kurt and Katrina and some friends played. Then we cleaned up the tree that Andrew cut down at Dad and Mom's. Stef and I were labor while Mom was management. Then we went on a bike ride on the tandem and Mack and Connie came with us. Then we stood around and stared at our car. So we got red. It was a beautiful day.
This has nothing to do with sunburns because it was dark when it happened, but we helped some friends move that night too. So we got our exercise.

Go squish like grape

This is our car when it got smushed. We noticed it when every bump we hit sounded like we were dragging something. Lo and behold our car had been hit.
All's well that ends well and this should end well within the week.

Easter some more

After Stef and I went on a Unicycle Ride together (hey, we are the unicycle couple, we've got to do it at least annually) we all went to the Junior High and flew a kite. Here Kiel and I share the prize of kite flying.

Look at those Champion Eggs! At the Holland house we did ding-bumping, or as they say, i-ya-pickin'. (None of use know what that actually means. Personally I think it is Belgiumneese, but if you say it right it could be misconstrued as karateese.) I didn't win. Stef didn't win. I forgot who did. Probably Stef did.

GOOOOOOOO STEF!

This is us. Yea for us.

Easter

This is what a kid who sees candy for the taking looks like. He is one happy boy!  Wait till after all that sugar kicks in!

We had a lot of fun with the Easter Egg Hunt at Dad and Mom's.

Here is Ryan and I.
(I tried hard to come up with some clever comment to fill this space but I just couldn't. Fortunately for you there is a place to make comments.)
Newsies here I come.

Randal's Information Design Project

This is the project that has been using my time up for the past 7 weeks. It is now finished.
We were required to pick an area of communication and do an information display on it. As you can see I choose to do mine on communication etiquette.

This is the plaque that makes it official. This is the first time that BYU-I has done such displays.

This is the full display. Thanks Dad for the table. The size of each object is based on it's use. That's why the cell phone is huge.

Scones

The yummy scones (2nd time around) we made a couple weeks ago.
Heart shaped scone for Randal!

Randal holding the 1st time round scone... we let the oil get too hot. Good thing we only added a small piece of scone in the oil first. Within point 2 seconds our little round scone burnt. Opps. We tried again and our scones turned out very delicious!

Snow and blankets

Here are the blankets that I made recently. I am learning to sew, thanks to Mom's patience and teaching. Thanks Mom!

Randal/Kite Flying in Rexburg

If you look carefully, in these pictures the kite is flying Randal.
Lift off for Randal!
Whoa Randal....hold on tight!
Away he goes!!!!
Can you see Stefanie? She is in the picture flying a kite.
