Vermont part 1: Christmas

We went to Vermont the day after Christmas. We flew from the Utah on Christmas night, had delays in JFK on Sunday morning, but we did make it home to Vermont without our flight getting canceled. That day in JFK, because of the snow storm, many flights were canceled.
Here are some of the pictures of us opening presents.
The last pictures are of some of the pillowcases that I made for my family. I am not very good at sewing, but the pillowcases were fun to make.

There are 4 posts for our Christmas in Vermont so keep looking through the blog.

Dad, the designated gift-giver.
Randal and Stef with the lighthouse wind chime they received.
Dad opening the pillowcases I made for him

Logan's pillowcase is made out of scraps from the quilt she made with Kari over the summer.

Patrick got some new handsome shirts.

Vermont part 2: Sledding

We got a new snow tube for Christmas. Randal is blowing up the tube (okay so he had help from an air pump too).
Logan and Spencer getting ready to go sledding.

Patrick, Stef, and Spencer heading up Toboggan Hill at our school to go sledding.
Heading back up the hill for another sled run down Toboggan hill.
Patrick loving the FAST ride down on the tube.

Vermont part 3: Photos, jam, and having fun

We had a lot of fun being home with the family. Look how grown up my sisters Charisse and Spencer are (I think Logan was at work for this picture). Spencer is getting tall.
Here are some of the things we did while in Vermont:

* Sister time
* We did some projects while we were home, but mainly we just got to hang out with our family.
We organized all my mom's photos. It was a big project to get all the pictures from 30 plus years all organized, but we did it. I enjoyed looking at all the pictures and having different memories from the pictures. I am grateful for my family's help in getting them all organized and I know I enjoyed doing it.
* Here Logan and I organizing the photos.
* Mom and I making strawberry/raspberry jam.
*Randal and Patrick doing dishes.

*Eating.

*Heading to Grampa and Gramma's house.
*Reese with the boys. Reese is excited to be at home with the family.
*Spencer, Reese, and Patrick hanging out.

Vermont part 4:Playing in the snow

Randal, my brother Drew, and I made a snowman which looks more like a snow bear and a King's chair for Drew. The snow was perfect for building things. The base of the chair is one huge roll of snow (it almost looked like a bale of hay).

Drew declaring the chair his King chair.

Randal and I in front of our snow "bear".
Good thing we had Randal helping us - the snow was heavy.

Drew decorated our snow "bear". He did a great job. We had a fun night out in the snow.
