New man

We both went to the eye doctor. I figured since both my parents and many of my siblings have glasses that I will eventually need them. But I don't need glasses right now! Randal needed a new prescription so he also got new glasses! He look so handsome in them! (You can click on the pictures to see them better)

More of the Thanksgiving Weekend

We spent Thanksgiving with Randal's family and my brother and sister. We had yummy food and enjoyed the company of our family. On Friday we went to Utah to spend some time with EJ and Ken. We had a great weekend.

We are grateful for our families and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We are grateful for a warm home and for laughter. We are grateful that we have good health too.

We went to Temple Square to see the lights. Charisse hadn't been to Temple Square yet, so this was a great weekend to go to see all the beautiful lights. It was chilly so we were quick, but enjoyed the time together.

The beautiful Salt Lake Temple.

Kiel and Randal having a grand old time seeing the lights at Temple Square.

Ken, EJ, Stef and Charisse braving the cold to see lights at Temple Square.

Trip to Utah

Randal, Charisse, Kiel, and I made a trip to Utah the day after Thanksgiving to visit EJ and Ken. We enjoyed visiting with them and doing some fun things.

We decorated sugar cookies. Here are Randal's and my cookies for each other.

Charisse and EJ are sporting the BYU and U of U cookies - the big game was yesterday. The University of Utah won.

Here are some of the other cookies we decorated. Can you find the horse cookie?

We played some Hokie Six cards. It was a loud and fun game to play with everyone.

Thanks EJ and Ken for letting us come visit. We enjoyed the weekend with you!!!

Capture the magic of the holidays

Shutterfly – the magical way of capturing parts of you life!

I really like the quality of shutterfly. I have family and friends who make cards and, more so, shutterfly books. These books are made from blog posts, pictures captured throughout the year, and much more. I love their books how they share a part of their lives through pictures.

You can easily personalize a calendar as well. Each month you can have a picture to correspond with that month or have a theme for the year, etc. Take a look at all the cute calendars they have! http://www.shutterfly.com/calendars/desk-calendars

Another thing to do with Shutterfly is to make holiday cards for your family and friends! I plan on using Christmas 2010 to share some photos of us from this past year. Maybe I will even use the cards for thank you cards. There are so many fun options to personalize to our life. Here are some of the options: http://www.shutterfly.com/cards-stationery

Is there anyone else out there that really likes Shutterfly and free things? Right now Shutterfly is having a deal where if you blog about them, you can get 50 free cards! Who doesn't love deals like that? http://bit.ly/sfly201

Enjoy!

Billboard

Here is the billboard that Randal created for the Standard Journal. It is fun to see his work huge and outside of the newspaper.
