Trip to Vermont 2012

We went to Vermont last week to visit family. We had a great time enjoying family!

We realized that in the last 2 1/2 weeks we were able to see 11 out of 12 of my siblings! First of all, Charisse, Logan, and Kiel all live within 6 blocks of us. We started by camping near American Falls with Kurt and family.  The night we got home from camping Mack and Connie came. Then the next week we went to Vermont where we visited with my parents, Bud, Spencer, Patrick, and Drew. Alyson and family came up for a few days. We went camping at Camp Joseph (up the road from Joseph Smith's birthplace).
I put a lot of pictures to capture our week in Vermont. We were able to do a lot of fun things while we were there. Enjoy the pictures!
We had a great time in Vermont. We can't wait to go back again!

After our hike around the Joseph Smith birthplace.

Getting ready for the meal.

Delicious corn on the cob we bought at the local farmer's market!

The boys keeping the fire going!

Playing kickball. We got a lot of kickball games in throughout the week.

Hanging around the campfire at night. I don't have a picture of it, but we were visited by a skunk both nights. The boys tried to scare it away, but I think the skunk was used to people. It came right around us not caring we were there.

Getting some yummy maple creamies.

Swimming at the gorge.

Jumping from the swinging rope. We had a good time there.

Catching up to us.

Sunday walk...guess where to? The cemetery. A common Sunday walk.

I am not sure who took this picture.

At the battlefield monument.

Drive-in

We went to the drive-in this past weekend with my brother and sisters. We saw "Mirror Mirror" and "Hunger Games". It was a chilly night as you can tell from all our blankets, hats, and coats. We had a great time.
He's excited to watch the movies!

What we have been up to

Last week we went to Brigham City and Logan for the day. We stopped at the Brigham City visitor's center.

The Brigham City Temple (not completed yet).

Lorenzo Snow's grave site.

Welcome to Brigham City.

We got a private tour of the Logan Tabernacle. They don't usually start giving tours until June, but they were kind enough to give us a tour. I even got to play the organ in the Tabernacle.
We walked around the Logan Temple.

We stopped at our aunt and uncle's home for dinner. They made us a delicious dinner and we enjoyed our visit with them.
Here are the girls standing in Utah and Idaho at the same time!
Easter.
Making the Easter meal.
Cooking some more for Easter.

Making decorations for the girls' apartment.
Charisse and Logan made fleece blankets. They turned out really well. They picked great fabric too.

Gramma

Last week my gramma passed from this life. We were blessed to be with my grampa, uncles, aunts, cousins, brothers, sisters, and parents last week. She was a wonderful gramma who loved life and her family. She is a great example to us of love. We were glad we were able to see her and also be home for her funeral. She will be greatly missed.

Here is my family (parents, brothers, and sisters, and me) plus Randal and my niece Afton minus one sister and one brother.
