This is my brother. Last weekend Randal, my brother, sister, and I went to the park to launch off water balloons. My brother decided to try to catch the water balloons so he went across the park. My sister and I were holding the water balloon launcher while Randal was launching the balloons. Kiel is really good at catching the water balloons, so good that he caught one with his face. The balloon burst open on his face. Good thing he had glasses on - the nose piece did scrape under his left eye, but the glasses did protect his eye from more damage. His nose bled (ALOT) and his left eye immediately swelled up and was all purple. We stopped the balloon launching and went home to put ice on his eye.
He is okay , but his eye still is a little purple a week later.

I guess no one wanted to comment on this one. I will do so. I decided that because I was no good at firing the balloons off that I would try to catch a few. for those who know me I can't catch anything that is flying through the air. IT was was lucky day! I caugh the a balloon right in the eye. Ok, so maybe that was not the best way to catch it. After the inital hit in the eye it stung bad. my nose bled like a hose out of control. IT is too bad that the Red Cross was not there to take the blood from my nose as a donation for someone who was worse of than I was. Randal thought the whole thing was so funny. He could not stop laughting for hours. After the initial shock I was still bleeding and laughing along with Randal. I have to say it must have been a funny site, to bad it was not video tapes for American Funniest videos, I could have been rich! I find out later that night or the next morning the real reason Randal was laughing. He was replaying my excitment to catch a balloon. Apparently I was dancing around trying the catch balloons and that is why he was laughing... I must be a REAL man in the sense that i did not cry about it, I laughted. I did not even swear one word. GO me. way to control myself.
I guess this is just another memory I will remember.

Oh no! That's so sad but it makes a great story. Glad he didn't break anything.
It does make a great story! I like to think about the saying "What doesn't kill you makes you stronger"
